Microsoft took everyone by surprise on the night of November 29th and released two new games on Xbox Game Passincluding a title that is competing at The Game Awards 2023. These are Remnant 2 e Remnant: From The Ashesproduced by Gunfire Games and released by Gearbox Publishing.

The games were added to the catalog last night (29), without prior notice from Xbox. Both titles can be played on both Xbox and PC, also bringing support for the cloud.

The two games in the Remnant franchise are available on Game Pass on PC, Xbox and the cloud.

Bringing a mix of third-person shooting with soulslike and roguelike elements, as well as lots of loot, the games can be a good choice for players who enjoy challenges. Both titles also support cooperative gameplay, allowing you to explore the entire adventure alongside fellow players.

Remnant 2 indicated no Game Awards

Remnant: From The Ashes was released in 2019 on PC and Xbox and PlayStation consoles, later gaining a port for the Switch. The title wasn’t a huge success, but it managed to gain a notable fan base and gained a following.

The game Remnant 2 arrived on July 25, 2023 and was well received by the public and critics, despite having flown below the radar of many players. However, don’t be fooled: the title has a lot of quality and managed to get a spot at The Game Awards.

The Gunfire game is competing in the Best Action Game category at TGA 2023. Remnant 2 will compete against Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Dead Island 2, Ghostrunner 2 and Hi-Fi Rush, other big names in 2023.
