The Bilibili Gaming squad has already participated in VALORANT Champions 2023, showing their skill by reaching the final stage of the tournament, with a 2-0 defeat against NRG in MD3.
Another confirmed team is FPX. The team already has an international history competing in Champions 2023. Furthermore, the experience will bring more competitiveness in VCT China.
Finally, JD Gaming, which has a long way to go in League of Legends after winning two stages of the Chinese league, emerges as a strong competitor in VALORANT in 2024. The organization was one of the favorites to win the Worlds 2023 title.
The announcement of the teams taking part in VCT China follows the three stages of the China Evolution Series, all won by EDG, who have not yet been confirmed as a partner team for the tournament.
The expectation is that ten more organizations will be announced by the Chinese franchised league, with an 11th organization winning a place in a tournament similar to the VCT Ascension.
