Matchbox in partnership with SpaceX launched a miniature replica of the SpaceX Dragon Capsule spacecraft capable of taking people or cargo to low Earth orbit (LEO).
The SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft Matchbox Premium Die-Cast Vehicle reproduces the ship with the capsule where the astronauts travel and the bottom part or “trunk”, which supports unpressurized payloads and provides power for the entire ship. The solar cells that cover one of the sides have a silver and black metallic finish.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft is made from die-cast metal and comes packaged in a fragile collector’s box with window. It measures approximately 6.4 cm (2.5″) tall, in 1:128 scale, and is suitable for ages 3 and up.
The SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft Matchbox Premium Die-Cast Vehicle costs US$16.99 at Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
