The greatest player in the history of CS:GO will not be present at CS2. Not at least in the first few months. The Ukrainian s1mple announced on Thursday afternoon (26) that he will take a break from his career.

The announcement was made through his profile on X, formerly Twitter. In the post, s1mple stated that it is time to take a break. The reasons for this, the player stated that he needs to resolve documentation issues and take care of the people in his life.

So, it’s time to take a break like I wanted, but that’s only half the story. I need to fix documents and take care of other people in my life.

Furthermore, s1mple said that he never considered changing organizations, but that it would be interesting to study offers from other clubs to act as a rifler, since AWP is not having a good impact on the game, according to the player.

About moving to another organization: I never thought about it, but it would be interesting to see offers, maybe as a rifler, since AWP doesn’t have a bit of impact in CS2. Although nothing has been decided yet, I hope you are still rooting for the boys [da NAVI] in upcoming tournaments.
