By surprise! Steam releases famous franchise game for free

Just today (13) Steam released the game for free out of nowhere Dead Island: Riptide in its Definitive Edition. The game released in 2016 from the famous cooperative action game franchise against zombies can be redeemed for free until February 15th.

Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition was developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver in May 2016. The game consists of a open world adventure designed for co-opin which you and your friends team up to survive hordes of zombies with different weapons and resources spread across the map.

To redeem the game for free, simply search for its Steam page or access it directly here. With your store account properly logged in, simply click on the “Add to account” button and the game will forever be in your library.

Dead Island 2 is coming to Steam

The free game is part of the promotion of release of Dead Island 2 on Steam, as the latest title in the franchise will arrive at PC gamers’ favorite store on April 22nd of this year. You can now add it to your wish list, but until that date, Dead Island 2 is only available on the Epic Games Store on PC
