The group is made up of Roland (Kevin Hart), a former mercenary desperate for redemption, and Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), an angry pre-teen demolitionist. The gang also includes Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tina’s muscular and brash protector, Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), a scientist with little control over her sanity, and Claptrap (voiced by Jack Black), an intelligent and persistent robot.

These unlikely heroes must battle alien monsters and dangerous bandits to find and protect the missing girl, who may hold the key to unimaginable power. The fate of the universe may be at stake, but they will also be fighting for something more: each other.

Remember the Borderlands game franchise

Originally launched in 2009, the franchise is set in Pandora, a post-apocalyptic scenario inhabited by creatures, criminals and bounty hunters in search of the enigmatic Vault, whose existence is questioned by many. The shooter was expanded with two sequels, released in 2012 and 2019, as well as two spin-offs.

The film is scheduled to premiere on August 9th. While the hype for the trailer and more details grows, take the opportunity to follow the latest news from Voxel and check out our videos on YouTube and TikTok!
