Will Palworld be released for PS4 and PS5?

Officially launched last Thursday (18), Palworld has already become a huge phenomenon with its mix of cute creatures, weapons and survival elements. However, while PC and Xbox Series X|S players can now enjoy the adventure, it is not yet available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

While there is still no prediction that the game will arrive on Sony consoles, this is a possibility that remains open. In a Q&A shared in January of this year, developer Pocketpair decided this is something it will consider in the future.

“We have no plans for this at the moment, but we will consider it during development”, promised the creator of Palworld. In other words, while there is no guarantee that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will receive the game, this still cannot be ruled out. The only certainty is that any movement in this direction will take time to happen.

Palworld is already a huge success

Although it is already available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, Palworld is not yet considered a complete game by its creators. The current version already has a lot of content, but it is still part of Early Access that will be improved over time. The creators’ intention is for the adventure to remain in this state for at least the next two years.

However, this did not stop the game from becoming one of the first big hits of 2024. According to SteamDB, more than 370 thousand simultaneous players connected to Pocketpair’s servers in the 24 hours after its debut. And this number does not take into account those who play through the Xbox Store version, Game Pass or Xbox Series X|S.

Featuring a world full of cute creatures with varying powers, Palworld not to be confused with the series Pokémon from Nintendo. It presents a world with more adult characteristics, in which it is even possible to feed on monsters known as Pal or arm them with pistols and machine guns.
