VALORANT: Player suggests adding blocklist

A Reddit user, Deactivised, brought up an issue regarding the toxicity of VALUING and suggested that the developer implement a system of “blocklist” to the game.

The player’s suggestion is that Riot Games insert any feature into the game to make players block others from playing against them. This is a function that exists in Counter-Strikebut the developer never issued any position on adding a feature for this.

It’s surprising how toxic this game can be. I just finished a very poorly rated game where my Jett repeatedly shouted racist and discriminatory insults at me. As this usually happens, I simply silenced Jett and moved on with my day. In the next game, the same Jett was on my team, it pissed me off that I was banned for 12 hours for quitting a game that I really don’t want to play because of an extremely toxic player. VALORANT NEEDS to add a block list or any feature that allows certain players to not be queued as teammates. I can afford the extra wait times because, honestly, I’d rather have that than be yelled at by some unemployed 20-year-old kid.
