The announcement was made during the official VALORANT broadcast. Riot had previously announced that the map would be released.
Inspired by Thailand and the region’s floating markets, Drift features long lines of sight drawn around the Middle with multiple paths for players to enter and exit the space for more dynamic combat.
Players can expect plenty of aiming duels as they quickly switch lanes via a suspended rope they can jump to.
TDM not EVALUATING
The new VALORANT mode was implemented in the game in June 2023, with the presence of three maps. Furthermore, the game’s inspiration was the knockout game that exists, where players train and also have fun.
The team knockout will be for those who want to have fun in a casual game mode that will pit two teams of five people against each other on three exclusive maps.
The official launch of the new map, Drift, takes place on December 5th.
