Saudi Arabia announced another venture focusing on electronic sports. The country will have a District dedicated to games and esports. Located in Qiddiya city, the venue will have four multi-purpose arenas for international championships. In Brazil, Count up e brTT will endorse the project.

According to a statement sent to the press, the investment aims to put Saudi Arabia on the world esports map. To achieve this, the Games and Esports District will have four arenas with a combined capacity of 73,000. O Qiddiya Gaming and Esports District promises to have a structure that teams can use during bootcamps and receive up to 25 teams at a time.

The project is also long term. Also according to the statement, Saudi Arabia wants to become the center of games and esports by 2030. In addition to competition and training facilities, the country also invited companies in the games and esports industry to build their offices in the city.
