Robocop: Rogue City arrives on November 2nd for PS5, Xbox Series e PC. The game from Teyon Studios, which enters early access from October 31st, puts you in the shoes of a police officer Alex Murphy and recreates several moments from the classic 1987 film (RoboCop: The Policeman of the Future), all in first person.
The Poles of Teyon are already known for their success “Terminator: Resistance” (2019). The team had shown the industry that they could make good games based on films without modernizing and making contemporary reinterpretations, transferring the atmosphere of the original feature film from Arnold Schwarzenegger to the virtual world.
Now, the team repeats the formula in Robocop! Check out the game’s narrative trailer:
So it’s time for you, the reader – a fan of 80s films – to decide whether it’s worth buying or ignoring the game on the release calendar. To help, we’ve listed the most important information about the next FPS, from details about gameplay and story, to the game’s price and notes.
Story of Robocop: Rogue City
The game’s campaign will last 20-30 hours, and players will learn about Robocop’s new story. The narrative takes place between the second and third films of the original trilogy. Actor Peter Weller, who played Robocop in the first two films, will voice the character again.
The story will expand the plot of “Nuke”, a drug that is plaguing the city of Detroit. Players will be tasked with confronting criminals, making moral choices throughout the game, encountering various situations that may require violent interactions.

Robocop game gameplay
Robocop: Rogue City does not follow the fast and dynamic FPS style. The developers prioritized fidelity to the universe and the character, making the character move slowly and deliberately, making him an easy target for armed enemies.

However, Robocop has a large amount of health, and the challenge level can increase with more powerful enemies. The game also includes progression elements such as abilities that improve mobility and combat options.
Additionally, players will have access to various tools and mechanics to face enemies, including the iconic Auto-9, as well as options such as throwing objects, melee attacks and much more. Part of the gameplay can be seen for free, in a demo available on Steam.

Fans of the Robocop universe already know that the gameplay will pay homage to the character’s slow and methodical approach, combined with action elements. The emphasis is on storytelling and exploring the hero’s story in a unique way.
In one of the latest trailers released by Nacon, it is possible to see RPG elements that the game will offer to the public. The preview reveals a character building system that directly affects Alex Murphy’s behavior and abilities during gameplay.
