USAopoly has put up for pre-sale a themed edition of the classic Monopoly board game inspired by the film Dune directed by Denis Villeneuve based on the book series by Frank Herbert.
In the game Dune Monopoly Board Game players buy characters from the saga in different factions, instead of locations, and must collect figures such as Paul, Lady Jessica, Chani, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, Glossu Rabban, Princess Irulan and Emperor Shaddam IV among others.
The Dune Monopoly Board Game comes with 16 “Politics” cards and 16 “Fate” cards. The houses became “Leverage” (influence) and the hotels “Loyalty” (loyalty) and there are 6 collectible pieces inspired by items from the film: Muad’Dib, Crysknife, Gom Jabbar, Maker Hooks, Ornithopter and the Ducal Ring. The game was officially licensed by Legendary Pictures and is suitable for ages 8 and up.
