O Minecraft Legendsthe spin-off of the popular sandbox game, will have its content development ended after nine months since its launch, in April 2023. The information was revealed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive this Wednesday (10).
After receiving feedback from the community and implementing improvements over time, the team decided to take a step back from development. With this, the production of new content for the game will end.

The latest update for Minecraft Legends will arrive this month, introducing a new “Lost Legend” challenge titled “Snow vs Snouts” as well as a free “Bright-Eyed Hero” skin in the Minecraft Legends Marketplace. Mojang has assured that technical support for the game will continue, and existing Lost Legends challenges will remain available for free.

The announcement comes after support for Minecraft Dungeons ended in September 2023. Minecraft Legends, which received criticism after its release, has undergone significant improvements to the interface, gameplay and content over time.
