Early in the history of competitive LoL, one team that dominated the United States was TSM. His first title was in 2013 and since then it has always been a very competitive team, accumulating seven titles at LCS in 11 finals disputed.
However, TSM gave goodbye for LoL in the 2nd split of LCS 2023, leaving behind a legion of fans in world.
TSM announces that it wants to return to League in 2024
In an announcement on Reddit, TSM made a point of reaffirming their commitment to esports, and confirmed that they are looking for places in Tier 1 of LoL, Valorant and Call of Duty. Check note:
We want to reaffirm that TSM is still fully committed to esports. While we can’t share many details about our plans, we can confirm that we are actively looking to participate in Tier 1 across multiple sports, including League of Legends, VALORANT, and Call of Duty. We are working carefully to achieve our goal of acquiring a League of Legends franchise seat in a Tier 1 region by the end of 2024. This process takes time and requires patience, as negotiations of this magnitude face many obstacles along the way. We’re just as excited as you are to return to LoL Esports!

It is also a strong desire of our organization to be on the VALORANT Champions Tour. We will continue to evaluate the viability of Challengers after the end of the open qualifiers.
