Champions available in LoL are divided into classes

With so many characters in the game, Riot divided its characters into classes, so that players can create a gameplay style and identify with certain champions. See all League of Legends classes below:

  • Fighters: champions who bring offensive and defensive skills. These are melee damage characters and, for the most part, physical damage. However, we have fighters focused on magic damage.
  • Mages: champions whose greatest quality is the use of skills. They deal damage from a distance and use magical damage as their primary source of strength. Mages deal more damage, but are more fragile.
  • Murderers: champions whose focus is to deal a large amount of damage in a short time, the famous “Burst” in LoL slang. These champions are also fragile, but they tend to have good mobility.
  • Shooters (ADCs): champions that deal damage from a long distance, and generally with a high DPS (damage per second). They are also fragile, but in a long fight they can do a lot of damage, as they generally hit faster.
  • Supports: As the name suggests, they are champions whose focus is on skills that can help the team, especially the ADC. These abilities can be shields, cures, stuns, among others.
  • Tanks: resilient champions, whose focus is to be the team’s “punching bag”. They generally bring crowd control skills and deal little damage.
