Lego has released an absolutely incredible set to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Walt Disney Company by brothers Walt and Roy, on October 6, 1923 in California, under the original name Disney Brothers Cartoon Studios.
The LEGO Disney Walt Disney Tribute Vintage Camera (43230) uses 811 pieces to reproduce an old 1920s movie camera with many incredible details such as a rotating crank, sliding matte box and a set of 3 lenses that can be rotated, as well as a side part that opens revealing a secret space with controls and chair to place Walt’s minifigure.
The camera comes with a tripod, the number 100 on the film rolls and a film strip showing scenes from 20 historical Disney films featuring Lego characters.
The LEGO Walt Disney Tribute Vintage Camera also comes with a classic clapperboard that becomes the base for a 3-screen Multiplane Camera from the 1937 Silly Symphonies short film The Old Mill.
