This Monday (29), Microsoft held its ID@Xbox Showcase 2024, a broadcast focused on presenting various news about independent games to the world. After a warm-up that lasted almost an hour, the broadcast brought news about titles such as Palworld and Vampire Survivors.

We were also able to see glimpses of the new game from Don’t Nod (creator of Life is Strange), more details about the mysterious Centum and the reveal of the unique Promise Mascot Agency. If you missed the broadcast, don’t worry: we’ve put together a summary of everything that was announced in it.

Astor: Blade of the Monolith

The presentation started with a lot of action thanks to Astor: Blade of the Monolith. The title introduces us to a hooded and masked character capable of using giant swords and different types of magic in a real-time gameplay system. The game is almost ready and hits stores on May 30th for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

33 Immortals

The broadcast also brought a new glimpse of 33 Immortals, a cooperative game in which several players team up to face gigantic bosses. With roguelike elements and a strong focus on cooperation, the game will allow you to deal with opponents such as Lucifer, a demon capable of using a variety of magic.

Palworld will gain new companions

Pocketpair was present at the ID@Xbox Showcase to demonstrate that it is bringing new creatures to its famous game Palworld. According to the company, all of them will arrive during the North American summer, which starts at the end of June and runs until September.

Commandos: Origins will get a closed beta

Responsible for creating a new starting point for the franchise, Commandos: Origins promises many tactical elements and intense difficulty. A closed Beta takes place in the North American summer, and the final version arrives directly in the Game Pass catalog for Xbox and PC.

Centum is a new narrative adventure

First new game from ID@Xbox Showcase 2024, Centum is a narrative experience in which we must find ways to escape from a cell. The place is full of mysterious items and promises to reveal many hidden secrets. With strong horror elements, the game arrives in 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage debuts

Created by the same team responsible for Life is Strange, the narrative game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage has a new trailer that reveals images of a past youth. It ends with hints of its main mystery, which will involve a very suspicious death. Confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, the game will arrive at the end of 2024.

Keylocker is a cyberpunk RPG

Another new feature at the event was Keylocker, a pixel art RPG that shows a cyberpunk world in which music has been banned. This premise serves as the basis of the gameplay mechanics, in which we need to sing and create melodies to defeat enemies in turn-based combat. Funded by Kickstarter, the title will have versions for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Fera: The Sundered Tribes

Created by Massive Damage, Beast: The Sundered Tribes describes itself as a mix of an RPG with hunting and survival elements with a village manager. Bringing a post-apocalyptic world with strong fantasy elements, the game arrives in 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

All You Need is Help is a unique puzzle

From the same creators as PixelJunk Monsters, All You Need is Help is a puzzle game in which each player takes on a different form. With strong cooperative elements and captivating visuals (and the best music of the event), the game is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Switch, and will arrive on Game Pass in its debut.

Promise Mascot Agency

From the same creators as Paradise Killer, Promise Mascot Agency is the new project signed by Ikumi Nakamura and Mai Mattori, which shows a Yakuza legend who needs to take care of an agency that rents mascots to others. Mixing cuteness and realism, the game promises a surreal adventure when it debuts on PC, Xbox and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Equipped with a backpack and a sword, the protagonist of Dungeons of Hinterberg will need to be smart to overcome some of the challenges presented during the ID@Xbox Showcase 2024. With cartoonish visuals and strong puzzle elements, the title debuts on July 18th this year on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

The presentation revealed that the Vampire Survivors Contra DLC arrives on May 9th, new titles coming to Game Pass and gameplay trailers for Hangry and Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter. We also had confirmation of the release window for Times & Galaxy (second half of 2024) and confirmation that SULFUR will also get an Xbox version.
