ESL Pro League S18: FURIA will have a tough match against NIP

After winning the Grayhound in the mid bracket of the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 18a FURY will have a difficult duel ahead. The Brazilian team will play against NIP still this Friday (1) in a match worth a spot in the final of the bracket.

Packed after good performance

Despite a difficult game, FURIA comes packed. After having a bad performance in the debut, the team commanded by FalleN recovered and took no notice of Grayhound in his second match in the competition. On the other hand, NIP won in the debut, but arrives for the confrontation against FURIA after defeat to Vitality.

Retrospect against NIP is bad

FURIA’s record against NIP, however, is not good. In the last three matches between the teams, the Brazilians were defeated in all of them. All losses were in Majors: Antwerp in 2022 and Paris in 2023. On all three maps, FURIA scored only 20 times.

Despite the bad record against the opponent, in the ESL Pro League S18, FURIA, as already mentioned, comes from a good match, which can give the players a boost to perform, once again, close to 100%, as I said Chelo after the game.

FURIA and NIP will face each other this Friday (1) in the ESL Pro League S18. The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 pm. The winner will be one victory away from qualifying for the international league playoffs.

ESL Pro League S18

ESL Pro League Season 18 takes place from the 30th of August to the 1st of October in Malta. In all, 32 teams will compete for the trophy and a slice of the total prize pool of US$ 850,000. FURY, MIBR e Imperial are the Brazilian teams in the tournament.
