McFarlane Toys has put up for pre-sale two new statues from its Movie Maniacs line of two great comedy films that were very successful: The Young, Crazy and Rebels directed by Richard Linklater in 1993 and The 40 Year Old Virgin directed by Judd Apatow in 2005 .
The David Wooderson “Dazed and Confused” Movie Maniacs 6-Inch Scale Posed Figure captures the character played by actor Matthew McConaughey leaning against a wall in salmon-colored pants and a white t-shirt featuring the cover of Tooth, Fang & Claw by Ted Nugent’s Amboy Dukes. The figure comes with a background panel based on the film poster and rests on a base with the name and logo.
The Andy Stitzer “The 40 Year-Old Virgin” Movie Maniacs 6-Inch Scale Posed Figure has the features of actor Steve Carell as the good-natured character holding his shirt in his hands and showing off some very strange hair removal on his chest. The figure comes with a background panel based on the film poster, base with name and an exclusive, collectible surprise.
The figures are officially licensed by Universal Pictures, are limited edition and measure approximately 15.2 cm tall.
Each Movie Maniacs figure costs US$24.99 on pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
