CBLOL 2023: FURIA renews with sBs and talks with South Korean for the top

O More Esports found that the Panthers are holding advanced talks with the South Korean Destroy to replace Concrete in the top lane. The move is not yet certain, but it is very likely to happen.

The hiring was the idea of sBs, South Korean coach, who renewed with the organization for next season. His hiring represented a major investment by FURIA in the 2nd Split of CBLOL 2023 and the work was pleasing internally within the team.

Destroy’s career

Destroy started his career in the Korean second division of LoL and competed in the region’s famous Challenger Circuit, however, he did not gain access to the LCK main stage. Soon after, Destroy played a few games for DRX, on the main squad, when he was a reserve in the organization.

Faced with few opportunities in Korea, Destroy sought new international challenges and had a meteoric passage through the second division of the LLA and even gained access to The Kings in the Latin American league.

Then it was time to conquer Europe. In the Turkish league, they won both stages of the TCL and also lifted the European Masters cup in 2023.
