Regarding the supposed DLC, the leak mentions a Trevor story sequence and a jetpack, which appeared in the content of GTA Online’s The Doomsday expansion. The online version of the game continues to receive support and new content to this day.

In other words, it seems that Rockstar Games ended up giving up on plans to invest in a story-focused DLC to invest in the multiplayer version of the game. Currently, GTA Online is one of the company’s main focuses, even receiving a paid monthly subscription.

In other words, the leak in question doesn’t even prove that the game is currently in development within Rockstar. However, in the past, a former company employee confirmed that the game existed within the studio.

According to speculation, Rockstar Games would have canceled Bully 2 to focus on Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 6, which will get its first trailer in December. Considering the longevity of Grand Theft Auto V, it’s difficult to say whether the company will ever return to work on a sequel to Jimmy’s story.

In addition to Bully 2, the files also mention the DLC “Cops N’ Crooks” (cops and bandits, in Portuguese). These are references to functions that the mode would have, such as “Enforcer”, “Soldier”, “Hacker” and much more. According to a Bloomberg report, the expansion was shelved after the death of George Floyd in 2020.
