Action Figure Mondo 1:6 from The Thing by John Carpenter « Toy Blog

Mondo has released its action figure version of John Carpenter’s sci-fi horror film The Thing on a larger scale than Neca’s figures.

The Thing: MacReady 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition reproduces in 1:6 scale the helicopter pilot of an Antarctic research station, played by actor Kurt Russell, with two interchangeable heads and fun hands with and without gloves.

The Thing: MacReady 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition comes dressed in custom-sewn fabric clothing from the film, including an aviation jacket with fur collar and green pants. The action figure, in 1:6 scale, measures approximately 30.5 cm in height and has several points of articulation to be placed in the film’s poses.

The Thing: MacReady 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition comes with scale accessories copied from the 1982 film such as a revolver, shotgun and flamethrower with a special fire effect. The special version comes with figures of the canine creature and the spider-head spider.

The Thing: MacReady 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition action figure costs US$234.99 on pre-order from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
