Despite the recent price hike, Xbox Game Pass certainly remains one of the most democratic subscription services today — not only for its vast catalog of games, but also because of the possibility of enjoying it without needing to have an Xbox, for example. This was even the subject of a recent Microsoft commercial.

In addition to the possibility of playing on PC, Game Pass Ultimate, which offers the option of playing games via Xbox Cloud, can also be used on both Samsung Smart TVs and Amazon Firestick TV — as well as on smartphones. So there’s no shortage of access!

With this, the new advertisement from the North American giant reassures those who want to be members of Game Pass but do not have a home console — after all, there are also the options mentioned above, which run cloud-based games smoothly and without any delay. Check out the video:

“The cloud will allow us to completely remove those barriers to gaming around the world,” Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said in an interview with Stratechery in 2020. “Of course, there’s still a place for consoles and PCs, and frankly there always will be, but through the cloud, we’ll be able to deliver a robust gaming experience to anyone connected to the internet, even on the less powerful, less expensive devices that people already own.”

“And with the cloud, gamers can fully participate in the same Xbox experience as people on their local hardware. We couldn’t do that if we weren’t part of Microsoft,” the executive concluded.
