What is the LoL World Cup Pool?

The Worlds Pool is a small challenge that Riot does every year so that spectators can try to decide which teams will advance to the next stage in the Worlds and which will win.

The Bolão has different phases, and you must choose who advances in the Entry Phase, who passes the Group Stage, who wins each stage of the Playoffs and who wins the tournament. Obviously choices must be made before the games take place.

How to play the Worlds 2023 Pool, the LoL World Cup

Playing the World Cup Bolão is simple. Visit the LoL Esports website and log in to your account. When confirmed, you will first be directed to the Crystal Ball questions page. After making them (or even before), you can go to the “Choices” tab, which is the Classic Results Pool.

Remember if. Team BDS and Golden Guardians will still compete for the last spot at Worlds 2023so if you make your choices now, remember to adjust them depending on the team that advances to the LoL World Cup.

Crystal Ball Questions

There are 20 questions in total for you to try and guess how many Penta Kills will happen in the World Cup, how many upsets, the most played champion, among others. Don’t be silly, you only have until day 10 at 4 am to make Crystal Ball choices.

“Currency” can help you with some choices

The LoL World Cup Pool has the “Lucky Coin” mechanism. If you forget to select a result, don’t know the teams or are out of time, this coin will select a random option, so you won’t be left without playing. However, the score marked with it is lower than a manual choice.

Oh, a warning, Coin is not available in Crystal Ball Questions. If you do not answer them, no option will be chosen automatically.

Worlds 2023 pool will give rewards to players in League of Legends

How does LoL World Cup scoring work?

As we have already said, in Crystal Ball the final score will only be revealed at the end of Worlds 2023, and will not be cumulative with the results choices.

We know that getting questions right generates 50 points, but Riot hasn’t said whether it will give fewer points if users get close to the right answer on some questions.

Entry Phase Points:

• 10 points for correct prediction.

Swiss Stage Points:

• 5 points for each team correctly classified for the Quarter Finals.
• 15 additional points for the team reaching 3-0.
• 20 additional points for perfect hits (all teams and 3-0).

Elimination Stage Points:

• Quarter Finals: 10 points for correct choice.
• Semifinals: 15 points for correct choice.
• Final: 20 points for correctly predicting the finalist teams.
