Toynk Toys has released two plush zombies from the Collector Plush Toy line inspired by the 1985 horror film Day of the Dead, the third feature film in the zombie series Dead Series from director George A. Romero.
The Bub the Zombie Day of the Dead 14-Inch Collector Plush Toy figure captures the docile, tamed zombie, a former soldier who remembers parts of his past life and is capable of exhibiting rudimentary human behavior.
Zombie Bub has a disfigured face with crooked teeth and is dressed in denim pants and jacket, black and red checkered shirt, and black combat boots.
The Dr. Tongue Day of the Dead 14-Inch Collector Plush Toy plush depicts the first zombie to appear in the 1985 film, a doctor in his past life. He was a puppet crafted and operated by various puppeteers.
The zombie Dr. Tongue has unkempt white hair and the lower part of his face is missing, including half of his jaw. The zombie comes dressed in a brown jacket, green vest and blue jeans.
Day of the Dead Collector Plush Toys dolls are made from high-quality plush with embroidered details and custom-sewn fabric clothing. The dolls are large at approximately 35.5 cm tall and have been officially licensed.
