If you like the franchise set in a galaxy so, so far away, we have some great news for you. Star Wars Outlawsa new project in the saga in partnership with Ubisoft, had its release date confirmed this Tuesday (09) — as well as a new trailer that will give any fan goosebumps.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC — however, it will be possible to play the adventure three days in advance if you purchase the Gold or Ultimate version on any of the digital platforms. Pre-sales are even available now!
Remembering that the more robust editions will also include a Season Pass, which possibly nods to potential extras that will arrive in the future — such as expansions, DLCs and more.
Additionally, those who pre-order will also be rewarded with the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, which includes cosmetics for the Trailblazer spaceship and the speeder you’ll use to explore the game’s universe. Check out the trailer:
Star Wars Outlaws will have an open world
Developed by Massive Entertainment, a Swedish studio subsidized by Ubisoft, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, in Star Wars Outlaws Players will live in the shoes of Kay Vess and her mini companion Nix, who must pull off one of the biggest heists the galaxy has ever seen.
The game will be the first in the history of the franchise Star Wars to bet on a vast open world full of activities to do. Furthermore, the adventure is set between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back e Star Wars: Return of the Jedi — two true classics of science fiction cinema.

Star Wars Outlaws takes place at a time when the Galactic Empire continues to tirelessly persecute the Rebel Alliance after Order 66 — while the criminal underworld and smugglers, of course, continue to thrive in the shadows.
Kay and Nix will take on high-risk missions to earn rich rewards from the galaxy’s crime syndicates — all while searching for ways to start a new life far from the dangers of the world.
