Sony will officially sell used PS5 at a cheaper price; understand how it will work

According to the Push SquareSony will offer the refurbished PS5 with disc drive for $399.99 — $100 cheaper than the official price of $499.99.

According to Sony, the refurbished PS5s it sells are “extensively cleaned, tested and ready for a new home”, with “100% guaranteed PlayStation quality”. “You will receive a product that functions like new, with genuine PlayStation replacement parts (as needed) that have been thoroughly cleaned, inspected and tested,” explains the Japanese giant.

All certified refurbished products will come with the necessary accessories, cables and manuals and will be packaged in their own boxes. Of course, a 12-month warranty is also part of the package, as the devices may potentially “present minor cosmetic imperfections”.
