Well, at least that’s what the sale announcement on the brand’s official store on Shopee suggested, being a pre-sale page. In the description, there is no release date, but the company asks for at least “45 days” to deliver the console.

Despite being sudden, the revelation does not surprise the community. Previously, the speculated price for the PlayStation 5 Pro reached R$8,000, even without any official suggestion from Sony other than the price in US dollars. Part of this bet was based on the idea of ​​adding taxes and duties, which would essentially easily multiply the US$700 charged in the United States — something very close to reality.

And it’s not just in Brazil that the price seems much higher than it should be! Internationally, the PlayStation 5 Pro caused controversy due to its terrible value for moneyunder the allegations that it would not offer enough innovations as required.
