Nintendo displayed, this Wednesday (17), a new edition of Nintendo Indie World. As the name suggests, the event is focused on independent productions that arrive on the Nintendo Switch in the coming months and brought news of titles such as SteamWorld Heist 2, Yars Rising e Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure. Contrary to expectations, it was not this time that Hollow Knight: Silksong received information.

Little Kitty, Big City

Previously announced, Little Kitty, Big City is a game in which users control a curious kitten who has to find his way home. He can also get into trouble with what he finds along the way, having goals in the style of Untitled Goose Game. The launch is scheduled for May 9.

Yars Rising

Produced by WayForward, from Shantae e River City Girls, Yars Rising is a new 3D action and platform game that arrives in 2024. Unlike the games mentioned, it features three-dimensional graphics and mixes 2D platform mechanics, in the style Mega Manwith stealth action.

Refind Self: The Personality Test Game

Described as a journey of self-discovery, it’s a charming pixel art adventure game that nods to the Game Boy Color aesthetic. In the story, the player controls an android who, after the death of her creator, must find a purpose for her existence. The launch is scheduled for half of 2024.

Antonblast

Inspired by Pizza Tower, Antonblast is a fast-paced platformer coming to Nintendo Switch as a timed exclusive in November 12th. A demo version is also now available for download.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes

From the same creators of Sayonara Wild Hearts, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a monochromatic puzzle-solving adventure game that comes in May 16 ao Nintendo Switch.

Bright Pinto: Europe

Scheduled for this year, Bright Pinto: Europe is a three-dimensional adventure game with beautiful anime-style graphics, with an aesthetic that is very reminiscent of Ni no Kuni. A demo version is now available.

Tartarugas-Ninja: Splintered Fate

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a new Ninja Turtles game with roguelite mechanics, Hades style. It is produced by Super Evil Megacorp and was originally released for Apple Arcade, but is now coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2024 as a timed console exclusive.

Stitch

Produced by Lykke Studio, Stith is a puzzle game that promises to be cozy and progressively challenging, with an embroidery aesthetic. It arrives exclusively on Nintendo Switch within today.

SteamWorld Heist 2

2015 title sequence, SteamWorld Heist 2 is a strategy RPG with beautiful 2D graphics set in a steampunk world. Although it was announced at a Nintendo event, the game is also on its way to PlayStation, Xbox and Steam consoles.

Shanghai Summer

Shown only in the Japanese version of the event, Shanghai Summer is a charming anime-style adventure game. It takes place in the early 2000s and the protagonist, Baichuan, experiences a series of anomalies in which he cannot distinguish what is the result of his mind or reality. In your search for clues, decisions carry a lot of weight and can lead to an unpleasant ending.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure

Also shown at the Japanese event, Arranger: A Role-Pzzling Adventure is a hand-drawn puzzle game in which the main character, Jemma, moves through the world horizontally or vertically using grids. If an obstacle is in the way, you can go the other way to reach the other side of the map. The launch is scheduled for mid-year.

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus

Inspired by Hollow Knight, Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is a metroidvania with beautiful hand-drawn graphics and an aesthetic reminiscent of Japanese folklore. The presentation at the Japanese Indie World brought more gameplay footage. The game arrives on July 18th on Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
