Game Changers Brasil 2024: Riot releases calendar with changes

After several days of pressure from the community, Riot Games finally released the calendar for the VALUING Game Changers Brasil 2024, this Thursday (25). The circuit aimed at the inclusive scenario will have some changes with the addition of a new stage.

Additionally, the steps Genesis Protocol e Evolution Protocol are also part of the circuit, all contributing to a total prize pool of R$ 360 mil.

For 2024, Game Changers will have a change in structure: each Stage will have two open Qualifiers with 64 teams each.

All Qualifier matches are MD3, with the exception of the Grand Final, which will be MD5. The top eight teams from each qualifier will guarantee their places in the main event.

For the Stage 1 Main Event, the eight teams will come via Qualifiers. In the Main Event of Stage 2, there will be the two best teams from Stage 1 + six teams via Qualifiers. The same occurs in the Main Event of Stage 3, with the Top 2 from Stage 2 + six teams from the Qualifiers.

Unlike previous editions, the circuit stages will have reduced face-to-face time. Riot Games chose to limit the in-person finals to just four teams, who will compete in the company’s studios.

• Qualifier 1: March 14, 15, 21 and 22
• Qualifier 2: April 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th
