CS2: cadiaN goes to Heroic’s bench

A surprise took over the community of Counter-Strike in the early afternoon of this Wednesday (4). A Heroic announced that cadiaNcaptain and main player of the team, was moved to the organization’s bench.

According to Heroic’s note on social media, the decision was taken by mutual agreement between the parties due to “Different visions for the future of the team”. The organization also cited cadiaN’s strength and influence on the team’s results and praised the athlete’s competitive spirit.

Team captain, cadiaN arrived at Heroic in April 2020, coming from FunPlus Phoenix. During the time he was part of the organization’s squad, the Dane won the titles of DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019, ESL Pro League S13, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 e BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023.

Furthermore, cadiaN was runner-up in the IEM Katowice 2023, IEM Rio Major 2022 and placed 3rd-4th in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
