Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile received a new postponement, and now it will only be released in 2024, without a more precise date yet. The announcement was made by Activision executive Chris Plummer during the game’s annual event: Call of Duty Next.

According to Plummer, the reason for the new postponement is so that the game can be improved in some elements, before finally being made available to all players. Therefore, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile should only arrive to iOS e Android in the spring of the northern hemisphere, that is, between March and June of next year.

Game was announced in 2022

It is not today that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile suffers from several delays. The game was announced in 2022, at the height of the battle royale’s popularity. Time passed, practically all of its competitors gained a version for cell phones, and Activision’s game remains in development.

If it’s any consolation to its fans, the reason for so many delays is precisely so that the game arrives with a series of innovative features. The main one will be shared progression between PC and console games, like the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3and matches that support up to 120 players.
