Call of Duty and more: Xbox marks event with news from Activision Blizzard

Microsoft announced, this Tuesday (30), that it will carry out a new edition of the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, at 2pm Brasília time. The presentation is considered the company’s biggest event of the year, as it takes place in the middle of the industry’s announcement season that was previously marked by E3.

In a statement on its official blog, Microsoft stated that this will be its first event with games from its portfolio of studios, including Activision, Blizzard e Xbox Game Studios. Fans can also expect announcements from publishing partners – which have not yet been specified.

Furthermore, the company confirmed that there will be a second broadcast shortly after the Xbox Games Showcase, but focusing on an as-yet-unrevealed game from a “beloved franchise.” The image released suggests that it is a new Call of Dutywhich was rumored to be set during the Gulf War and would be called “Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War“.

What to expect from the Xbox Games Showcase?
