The Mafia: The Old Country game is coming, being a new title of this classic 2K Games franchise, developed by Hangar 13 at Unreal Engine 5, promising first -first visuals.

Yesterday, the IGN on YouTube channel shared a new video especially for Mafia: The Old Country, presenting the players 9 minutes of what we will have when playing the title.

However, through this new video, fans noticed a possible graphic downgrade compared to previous trailers. For example, protagonist Enzo Favara’s model seems less detailed.

Other players claim that lighting is very basic, with less contrast and depth, being different from what was previously presented. Others comment on textures and visual effects that seem simplified.

At the same time, a portion of the public is arguing that gameplay is still preliminary, while others fear a drop in graphic quality.

Some suggest that the supposed downgrade may be the result of adjustments to optimize performance on consoles and PCs. Remembering that the game is developed at Unreal Engine 5, known for being problematic.

Mafia: The Old Country will be released on August 8, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | x.
