If a team exceeds the upper limit, a tax will be applied, which will be distributed among LCK teams that pay salaries above the lower limit or below the upper limit.

Current champion, Gen.G arrives with a reformulated team
Gen.G has won the last three editions of the LCK, but will arrive with a completely reformulated team for 2024.
The team only kept Chovy and Peyz from its 2023 lineup and brought in top laner Kin, world champion jungler Canyon and Lehends, a support that has played in the organization in the past.

However, not only the world title puts the team in the spotlight. T1 managed to keep the five world champion players for 2024, arriving with a very strong line-up for the LCK.
