VALORANT: Icebox should return in Episode 8, says page

This Thursday (28) Kingdom Laboratories leaked information that the Icebox must return to the VALUING no Episode 8. On social media, the page revealed that the map, which had been out of map rotation since April 2023, will make its return. However, the Haven must leave the game.

So far, there has been no information about specific changes that will occur on the map. Furthermore, Kingdom Laboratories warns that details may still change and official confirmation is scheduled for January 9th.

VALORANT changes

As of April 2023, Icebox has been missing from the rotation and Bind has returned to the game. Icebox has always been known for its unique and well-spaced horizontal locations, a complex center including pipe, kitchen, boiler and ramps. It is also the only map that presents “nests” which you can reach by using ziplines and planting the Spike.

Riot’s position on Icebox’s return

It is worth noting that, so far, Riot Games has not commented on the information. The absence of an official position increases speculation surrounding the veracity of these rumors.
