Funko has put a Pop! set up for pre-order! Special Comic Cover with one of the 4 covers from the 1991 comic book X-Men #1 drawn by Jim Lee and Scott Williams to form an incredible tetraptic image.
The Beast X-Men #1 (1991) Pop! Comic Cover Vinyl Figure with Case – Previews Exclusive comes with a Pop! of the mutant Beast crouching on a rock base, sculpted with details from the comics, including his blue skin, and measuring 10.8cm tall.
Behind the Beast doll is a reproduction of one of the four iconic covers of the magazine X-Men (Vol. 2) #1, released in October 1991 and signed by the duo Jim Lee and Chris Claremont. X-Men #1 is the best-selling comic book of all time according to the Guinness Book of World Records, with retailer pre-orders of more than 8.1 million copies, profit of $7 million and an estimate of more or less 3 million copies actually sold.
The set comes protected inside a transparent and sealed acrylic box with the doll firmly attached to the base and is limited to 12,500 pieces. The box can be displayed on a shelf, on a table or hung on a wall and measures 27.9 cm high by 17.8 cm wide and 9 cm deep.
