Zenless Zone Zero and more: game releases this week (06/30)

July begins, and with it come releases for all tastes. The highlight is Zenless Zone Zerothe popular new game from miHoYo, the producer of the phenomenon Genshin Impact.

Already The First Descendant is a third-person shooter game that has been attracting attention due to its beautiful visuals and frenetic gameplay. In addition, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is the new DLC for the classic online RPG, which will receive a series of changes with the new expansion.

Speaking of classic RPG, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak brings turn-based combat, in an engaging story. And finally, Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero is the re-release of the classic game from the 16-bit era. Check out the full list and respective prices!

The First Descendant – July 2nd

The First Descendant is a cooperative third-person shooter that has been attracting attention for its visuals. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, it promises to also bring RPG elements with loot mechanics in intense combat. The highlight is the boss battles, which will require strategy among players to be defeated.

In the game, you control a Descendant, a character with the mission of fighting aliens who have been invading dimensions for over 100 years to conquer territories. The game will feature a main story, as well as other online modes to evolve your characters. The First Descendant does not yet have a defined price.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail – July 2nd

Final Fantasy 14 will receive another DLC this week. Dawntrail promises to bring new content and additional elements to the game, such as the possibility of running at 120 FPS on PS5, something rare in games for the console. In addition, the expansion adds new jobs, areas to be explored, and other secrets that will only be revealed throughout the story.

This story continues after the events of Endwalker. It brings a new war between factions, where players must act to end the conflict, and thus maintain peace in the regions.

Furthermore, the plot should also bring many surprises, so much so that, in recent interviews, the developers asked those who have early access to the DLC not to give spoilers so as not to spoil the experience at launch. Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is now on pre-sale starting at R$107.99.

Zenless Zone Zero – 4th of July

miHoYo’s new game is coming to smartphones, PS5 and PC this week. For those who don’t know, the producer is the same as the phenomenon Genshin Impactand promises to repeat the same success with Zenless Zone Zero. Just to give you an idea, the game already has more than 45 million players pre-registering to play the free RPG, which will maintain much of the mechanics found in the company’s titles.

ZZZas it is popularly called, places players in a post-apocalyptic world, where they must take control of an agent. He must face creatures and other enemies to protect the city of New Eridu, the only shelter left after the devastation of the planet. The game is available for free on the day of its release.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak – July, 5th

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak is the new game in the RPG franchise Trails. It is marked by bringing turn-based combat, like the classics from the 16 and 32-bit era, bringing a plot that connects across all titles.

The new chapter features Van Arkride, a mercenary underworld agent who, after accepting a new case, has his life turned upside down. Now, he will have to solve the mission he was assigned to, while avoiding catastrophic consequences.

The game features a visual style that combines animation elements with 3D scenarios. The gameplay, in addition to the turn-based combat mentioned above, also features a decision-making system that influences the unfolding of the story. The game is already available for pre-sale for R$162.00.

Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero – July, 5th

Originally released in 1997, Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero will get a new version this week for current and previous generation consoles. In it, players control the bionic heroes Raita and Azuk, in battles against enemies who want to destroy all of humanity. It features gameplay that mixes Beat ’em up elements with 2D platformers. The visuals remain the same as those of the 16-bit generation, in which it was first released.

Cyber Citizen Shockman ZeroSource: Nintendo

Regarding the news, Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero will feature a two-player co-op mode, a gallery of hand-drawn images, and a rewind or fast-forward function. Finally, you can also save your progress at any time, avoiding having to go through the entire level again. The game is already available for pre-order starting at R$39.99.
