MegaHouse launched a new appetizing 3D puzzle of the Kaitai Food Puzzle line in the shape of a very popular sweet dessert in Japan: Yukimi Daifuku.

Created by the Lotte brand in 1981, it is a type of mochi (rice pasta) stuffed with ice cream: a thin layer of glutinous rice mass (soft and slightly elastic) involves a creamy ice cream, usually vanilla, but there are also flavors like green tea, strawberry and chocolate. The name means “Mochi to see the snow,” combining the Japanese tradition of observing the snow with the sweetness of dessert: “Yukimi” means “contemplating snow” and “Daifuku” is a traditional Japanese sweet mochi with filling with filling.

Yukimi Daifuku Kaitai Lite 3D Puzzle replicates a package of the Japanese candy made by the food company Lotte with two dumplings Mochi stuffed with vanilla ice cream.

The puzzle comes with 4 pieces of mochi and 8 pieces of vanilla ice cream to assemble to be two complete Yukimi Daifuku, which once placed inside the included container look like the real ones. The backpack pieces have partial flociating for a soft and cute texture that adds realism and tactile appeal.
