Xbox: list reveals new Doom and return of Bethesda classics

Close the taps! A series of confidential documents from Microsoft were leaked in the early hours of Tuesday (19), detailing the North American giant’s plans for the Xbox in the coming years. Of course, a list of the company’s future games was also made public in the report. The Verge.

Along with FTC documents detailing possible acquisition plans from Nintendo, Valve and Warner Bros, an updated version of the Xbox Series nostalgic. Names include remasters of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion e Fallout 3, Dishnored 3sequence of Ghostwire: Tokyo and much more.

Leaked list reveals future games coming to Xbox

The Xbox games in question were included in a July 2020 Microsoft presentation about Bethesda’s then-potential acquisition of ZeniMax. The titles are as follows — remembering that most of them have not been formalized to date:

• Remaster them The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2022;
• Game of Indiana Jones — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2022;
• DOOM Year Zero and DLC, as well as a second set of content — Originally scheduled for fiscal years 2023 and 2024, respectively;
• Project Platinum — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2023;
• Kestrel project and expansion — Originally scheduled for fiscal years 2023 and 2024, respectively;
• Remaster them Fallout 3 — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2024;
• Sequence of Ghostwire: Tokyo — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2024;
• Dishnored 3 — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2024;
• The Elder Scrolls VI — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2024;
• New expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online — Originally scheduled for fiscal year 2024.

It is worth remembering that these Microsoft estimates for future Xbox games are from July 2020. Therefore, it is very likely that the North American giant’s plans may have changed in the meantime.

At the moment, it’s unclear what “Project Kestral” and “Project Platinum” are as they’re just leaks, but we’ll probably find out more as we enter the fourth quarter of 2023 — a window between October and December that usually sees some announcements for the following year.

Finally, it is worth remembering that Nothing that has been leaked so far about Microsoft’s plans for the Xbox has been officially confirmed by the company. Therefore, treat information with great caution.
