Available in the market since yesterday, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a new souls-like developed at Unreal Engine 5 that has been drawing attention, unfortunately, because of his terrible optimization.

Performance problems not only reach the PC, but also all consoles, including the PS5 Pro, which faces difficulty running the game in high resolution.

Among the consoles, however, the Xbox Series S is the one that suffers the most: in it, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers even operates with resolution of only 300p, with Upscale to 900p.

    Quality mode: increased resolution to 900p / ~ 45fps, starting from a common resolution of 300p
    Balanced mode: increased resolution to 900p / ~ 45fps, starting from a common resolution of 360p

  • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers presents three views on all platforms, with the option of activating or disabled vertical synchronization.
  • The resizing techniques and generation of photograms used in this game are quite aggressive with very low native resolutions.
  • Xbox Series S is rendered at a common resolution between 300p and 360p, the lowest I’ve ever seen in a game on this platform.
  • Series S can reach slightly higher resolutions in performance mode due to the large cut in lighting. It also applies cuts to shadows, textures and rendering distance from other platforms.
  • Performance mode decreases the quality of the shadows, some textures and rendering distance on all platforms.
  • The PS5 Pro does not have remarkable visual differences besides an Improvement of FPS in Quality Mode of 15/20 FPS compared to PS5/XSX.
