As promised, hours ago developer Leenzee released the first update for Souls-Like Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, aiming to improve performance and correct locking.
The update aims to the computer at the moment. For example, 8GB GPUs or less of Vram now have memory optimizations at all levels of texture quality.
Another highlight deals with correcting locks that appear after the company’s logo in starting the game. The studio notes that another patch is underway and will be more complete, with release soon.
Update Highlights
Performance -related optimizations
- Latence mode is now a manual option on the options menu. Will no longer be activated by default.
- Supersampling resolution limits have been adjusted on some GPU models to avoid unexpected performance degradation.
- Vram Vram Optimization for more modest GPUS:
- For 8 GB GPus of Vram or less, memory economy optimization is now applied at all levels of texture quality.
- For GPUs with over 8 GB of Vram, this optimization will only be applied when the texture quality is defined as low.
Bug corrections and stability improvements
- Fixed a crash that could occur shortly after the company logo when starting the game.
- Solved a Stutter problem that affected some hardware settings during finishing animations.
- Corrected problems related to both the standard edition and Deluxe edition – after updating, players from both versions will receive the correct rewards. Players who have already bought the Deluxe package will need to enter again and redeem the reward in the Donation Box located at Revent Temple.
- All Wuchang owners on Steam will receive the original soundtrack DLC for free as compensation.
Gameplay balancing adjustments
- Chapter 2: Reduced the number of terrestrial mines and adjusted their damage to a fairer challenge.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series S | X and Game Pass.
