Vyse, Valorant’s new sentinel, is revealed; learn everything about the agent!

Valuing is one of the most successful shooters today and Riot Games continues to expand its roster with very unique characters. The game’s 25th playable agent will be Vyse, a new Sentinel who uses liquid metal to catch her enemies off guard through manipulation and other methods.

Riot Games will release the new character of Valuing on August 28th, along with Episode 9 Act II. In England, Vyse was a surname for people who lived near a border — so it suggests that the character exists on the edge between humanity and monstrosity. Check out the trailer:

Additionally, you may have noticed that Vyse will be the 25th character to join the cast of Valuingbut she’s officially the 26th — as the 8th agent has remained a mystery since the beta days.

What are Vyse’s abilities?

As mentioned above, Vyse uses liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm enemies. “With cunning and manipulation, she makes all opponents who face her fear the battlefield itself,” reads her official description.

In fact, her powers are somewhat reminiscent of the skill kit of Zyra, one of the heroines from League of Legends who uses thorny plants to ambush opponents in the moba. Check out the skills to Everything!

(E) Arcane Rose

The Arcane Rose places an invisible ward on the map, which can be used to blind all enemies who look at it. It’s a sort of activatable flashbang.

(C) Search Alive

Being a good option for group control, the Living Brew is a trap that, when activated, creates an indestructible wall for a brief moment.

(Q) Sharp Thorn

Also a trap of sorts, the Razor Thorn becomes invisible on the map when planted by Vyse. When activated by an unsuspecting enemy, the item creates a tangle of thorns that slows and damages.

(X) Steel Garden

Vyse’s ultimate is, let’s say, a bit too “cheap”. The Steel Garden literally launches a garden of steel spikes that jams the enemies’ primary weapons – who can only use their secondary weapons for a while. This will certainly open up a huge advantage for the team.
