Version 5.8 by Genshin Impact brings new adventures and presents Nod-Krai’s first character

HOYOVERSE announced today that version 5.8 of Genshin Impact “Summer! Sol? Resort!” It officially arrives on July 30. Under the warm breeze and the soft wave balance, Genshin Impact presents his new permanent summer adventure area: the quiet breeze resort in Natlan.

Destiny will offer vibrant experiences through various seasonal events. In parallel, the debut of Ineffa is marked-the first character originating from Nod-Krai-bringing with it the unprecedented elemental reaction “lunar load”, which will gradually unravel the secrets of this mysterious culture.

From version 5.8, the traveler will be invited to explore the new vibrant island in western Natlan: the quiet breeze resort. During this journey, the traveler will be accompanied by old friends such as Bennett, Chasca and Mualani, as well as the newcomer Venti, who seems to rediscover old acquaintances. The traveler’s stories and his friends will be revealed on the legendary mission “summer! Sol? Resort!”

The resort mascot, “Asha”, will also join the adventure, offering the traveler an incredible exploration capacity like Sauurians, allowing him to easily slide over the water and momentarily be in the air, braving each corner of the island. In addition, Asha is a master in graffiti, and the colors that paint along the way will not only help the traveler to solve puzzles, but will also reveal the secrets of the resort. However, under this atmosphere of fun and beach, a mystery of Mare Jivari remains hidden – the old “Bakunawa” monster awaits new challengers.

There are many festive events and hidden rewards throughout the resort. Players will be able to guide Kau Kau and Akamai on “travelers are full of friends”, challenge their shooting skills in “gunmen against the storm” and participate in the musical party to create vibrant scenarios with Asha. These mini games will offer the “colorful fervent fervor” and will unlock exclusive rewards, such as the “forge of wisdom” and Bennett’s clothing “Journey of Flames”.

Nod-krai’s story will also be officially presented in the new version of “New Moon Song”. In version 5.8 “Prelude: Journey to Home”, Ineffa, the multifunctional domestic robot created by the genius mechanical Aino de Nod-Krai, will be the first companion of the players in this region. Players will accompany her on her journey to explore the origins of her history in Natlan, and her mysteries seem to be closely linked to the secret technology of ancestral dragons.

Ineffa – a formidable warrior when his combat module is activated – integrates the playable cast as a 5 -star electro character who uses a spear and can trigger the new reaction “lunar load”. When Ineffa is in the team, all electrically charged reactions triggered by the team will be converted into lunar load reaction.

After the reaction is activated, a throbbing cloud will form on the battlefield, causing electro damage continuously against enemies under the influence of Electro and Hydro, and has the chance to trigger critical hits. During the battle, Ineffa can also launch a shield and invoke the intelligent “Birgitta” multiurse, which will regularly attack enemies, causing electro damage in ADE. If there is a throbbing cloud created by the lunar load reaction nearby, Birgitta deals an additional attack.

Ineffa and Citlali will return in the first half of version 5.8, followed by Mualani and Chasca in the second half. In addition, Liyue’s old friend Yelan is involved in a complicated case in Fontaine. She has shifted discreetly for a new fontaine -style clothes, and is wearing a special photography device to capture not visible clues. Players will be able to buy Yelan’s new clothing “Serenity Banquet” with a limited time discount.

The summer update brought not only a refreshing climate, but also system optimizations that make the gameplay even more practical. Character testing phases and talent interface now include demonstrative videos, facilitating skill learning.

Missions time management has also been simplified, allowing players to only need to press “navigation” so that time is automatically adjusted. In addition, the collection tracking function has been optimized, allowing players to quickly discover which characters can show the location of specialties in a region.
