It’s been a while since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been released and now it seems that Insomniac Games is working with its next project, which would be Marvel’s Wolverine.
However, it seems that another game can be released before Marvel’s Wolverine, which would be a Venom title. The information is from Youtuber Maggshow, based on internal sources of Insomniac Games.
According to the details, Marvel’s Venom is expected to be released in 2026, being a larger game than Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but smaller than Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on scale.

The title must be focused on a new view of Venom, an original character from the Alternative Universe (AU) of Insomniac Games. The goal of the game would be to tie Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 loose ends and prepare the land for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.
The Venom game takes advantage of elements already developed in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, where players briefly controlled Venom, reducing production costs.
Meanwhile, Marvel’s Wolverine is expected to be released in 2027. It is alleged that the Logan game was revealed very early and the situation of the game only got worse after the leaks.
Marvel’s Wolverine is not yet ready for release and has been settled, including the departure of important team members, such as the original creative director, who went to work on the Perfect Dark Reboot (canceled).
Remembering that none of this was officially confirmed.
