For those who do not know, developer Riot Games is preparing for major changes involving Valorant, which involves the transition from Engine.
Valorant was originally developed at Unreal Engine 4, but at the end of this month, the game will be officially migrated to Unreal Engine 5.
Riot Games shared a short statement about the transition from Engine, which will be officially launched on July 29. Originally the goal was to launch on the 14th.
“Yes, today (the 14th) would be the day when we would normally launch a new update. But to prepare for the update for the EU5, we will skip Patch 11.01 and include all the planned changes for this Patch on 11.02, which arrives on July 29th. We just wanted to warn you. And that’s it!
Valorant is free to play and has been optimized to perform well in a wide variety of platforms on both PC and consoles, allowing players around the world to compete.
With the quality of servers reference in the market, global infrastructure and proprietary anticheat technology, Riot Games maintains the commitment to preserve the fundamental principles of the tactical shooting genre and ensure the competitive integrity of the game experience on all available platforms.
