Last December, the existence of an expansion for The Witcher 3 was announced, which will serve to prepare us for The Witcher 4. This expansion is allegedly scheduled for May 2026, will be sold for 29.99 euros and CD Projekt Red expects to sell up to 10 million units throughout this current year.

To date, CD Projekt Red has not yet publicly commented on a new expansion for The Witcher 3, but unofficial sources in Poland assure that in fact, the company has already informed investors about its existence, has already informed them of the positive impact it will have on its finances.

Our Eurogamer colleagues spoke to Borys Nieśpielak, the original source of this information, who claims to have verified its veracity with several independent sources. Despite not having additional information to share, he says that the producer itself has already mentioned this in its financial report, which is why he was surprised to see that there are doubts.

In the investor presentation, Piotr Nielubowicz said that “given our current progress, there is a likelihood that new content suggested in a recent presentation and reports could be released next year, having an impact on our results and increasing the likelihood of achieving revenues for the first tier of the incentive program.”

Nieśpielak says that Nielubowicz was talking about new content for The Witcher 3, which sparked immense reactions in Poland, which are now sparking questions outside the country.
