The First Descendant is now free on PC and consoles! See the requirements to run it

Free games are always very welcome in the library, that’s a fact. If you like shooters with a slightly more cooperative feel, know that The First DescendantNEXON’s shooter, is now available for free on consoles and PC.

On Steam, the South Korean game has already arrived sitting in the window. In just a few hours of availability on Valve’s platform, The First Descendant has already reached more than 226 thousand simultaneous players, according to SteamDB — a truly impressive milestone considering the game has just been released.

The First Descendant has a packed roadmap for the coming months

Along with the overwhelming arrival of The First DescendantNEXON took the opportunity to reveal on X (formerly Twitter) a schedule full of news for the coming months. It all starts with the preseason, which will last eight weeks and will add Luna as a new character and Gluttony as the new Colossus — in addition to new weapons and skins.

Additionally, the first season, which officially begins at the end of August and will be called Invasionwill bring a new character to the roster. The update also features Season Pass progression, new dungeonsColossus, armas e skins.

Ancestorthe second season, begins in early December and will bring the addition of companions, as well as a “mega dungeon”, a new character, weapons, skins and more. The current plan, apparently, is to offer monthly updates with three months between seasons.
