Today, Nexon officially launched the demo of the long -awaited Breakthrough update to The First Descendant. It is now available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | x until August 6th.
To give the players a taste of what is coming, Nexon has prepared a special gameplay experience that anticipates next season’s action content.
Set on the vast Axion plains, the demo allows players to know some of the central resources of the next Breakthrough update. Axion is a huge open field that serves as the main stage of the update, where players assume the role of the newly introduced descendant, NELL, and depart on an exploration mission of the region.
Players will also face Legion of Breach, which includes new monsters like Abyssal Carapace. To travel the open land of Axion, you will be able to use the new Hover Bike (a flying motorcycle), offering freedom to explore at high speed. Another challenge is Wall Crasher, a slow but devastating enemy that releases shock waves, long -range attacks and area scams.

Players who conclude the demo will immediately receive bonus rewards, including a spoid box and a crystallization catalyst. As part of the research event, players who respond to post-dema survey will receive an additional crystallisador after August 13.
In addition, to support new and old players, The First Descendant will hold the event “Axion Plains: First Look”, in which all participants will receive an axion box containing rewards such as new titles, gold and three unique hover bike paintings.
With launch scheduled for August 7, the Breakthrough Update will bring a lot of exciting content, including the huge new Axion plains, the Hover Bike vehicle, Raid Colossus Field, the new descendant Nell and a crossover with NIER: Automa.
The First Descendant is available for free for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S | x.
