Trick or Treat Studio has put an incredible playset up for pre-order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre directed by Tobe Hooper in 1974.
The Dinner Scene Playset – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 5-Inch Action Figures comes with all the elements to recreate the terrifying and horrifying dinner scene from the film, certainly one of the most traumatic in the history of horror cinema.
The Dinner Scene Playset – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) comes with two 5″ (12.7 cm) action figures of participants in the macabre dinner, young Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) in a blue t-shirt, look of despair and the chair with arms and the decrepit grandfather Grandpa with hammer and rocking chair.
In addition, the set also has a wooden dining table, 3 bone chairs, bathtub basin, human skull, armadillo, pelvis bone, mallet, hideous box, water glass and two mugs with saucers.
Trick or Treat Studio has also put 3 more separate action figures up for pre-order to complete the dinner scene: The Hitchhiker 5″ Figure with green shirt, camera, razor and bag; The Cook 5″ Figure with meat hook, cleaver and severed foot; and the maniac Leatherface (Pretty Woman) 5″ Figure with blue suit, “pretty woman” mask and chainsaw.
The 5″ scale figures, measuring approximately 5 inches tall and featuring multiple points of articulation, were sculpted by Alexander Ray and are officially licensed.
